A Great Idea Turns 20!

Cresa is an international corporate real estate advisory firm that exclusively represents tenants and specializes in the delivery of fully integrated real estate services, including: Transaction Management, Project Management, Corporate Solutions, Portfolio Strategies, Location Planning, Lease Administration, Capital Markets, Mission Critical Solutions, and Facilities Services.  With more than 58 offices, Cresa is the largest tenant representation firm in North America.

About the Market

Cresa San Diego tracks office and industrial trends in numerous submarkets extending from the U.S./Mexico border north to Camp Pendleton, an area accommodating approximately three million people which make up San Diego County.  The county is divided into three distinct areas: South County, Central County and North County.   South County has a large concentration of industrial activity, including maquiladora operations on both sides of the border. Central County (a highly sought after area) is made up of San Diego’s downtown central business district and extends north to include the University Towne Centre and Del Mar Heights Class A office markets.  Central County consists of a mix of office, corporate headquarters, life science, and warehouse/distribution industrial product.  North County, like South County, has a larger percentage of industrial space users as well as a lesser mix of office and R&D companies.

The economic base of San Diego County has become very diverse with major contributors being government contracting in the fields of defense and aerospace engineering, tourism, manufacturing, biotechnology, healthcare, finance and education.

Cresa San Diego

Cresa’s San Diego office is led by three managing principals with an average tenure in excess of 30 years’ experience in the San Diego County market.  The experienced team includes a mix of long term tenant representative brokers, former landlord brokers from the largest national brokerage firms, aggressive young brokers with strong real estate and finance training, and a full-time project manager.  Their impeccable reputation and work ethic is evidenced by their long term, proven track record in the marketplace.

Mission

Our mission is to provide customized solutions exclusively for corporate space users by offering fully integrated services that align their real estate needs with their business plans, delivering maximum cost savings and exceeding expectations.

Vision

Our vision is to be the exception in the commercial real estate industry: A company that is service-oriented rather than transaction-oriented, with advisors who are client focused not deal focused.

Values

We are guided by the concept, “Do the Right Thing,” both internally and externally. We will always do what is right for the client’s best interest and put that interest before our own. We treat our clients and employees with respect, dignity and fairness in all matters.

We hear it all the time from prospective office and industrial clients, clients that don’t hire us, or even close friends; “It’s fine, we worked out a deal with our landlord and they cut our rent, thanks.” One of the myths of working a deal directly with your landlord is the perception that you will [...] Read More
